A weak password could be compromised with a brute-force attack or a dictionary crack which means if that is how they were compromised then the players password was too weak. If the player's computer was compromised, there could have been a key logger installed on the computer negating the need for a password crack in the first place. There is the possibility that the players in question went to a site that phished their log-in information. It is not out of the realm of possibility, and no one has said what the circumstances of those players getting hacked was or what sites they might have gone to that might have caused their computers or email log in for Evony to be compromised.

The only players that need to be contacting customer service is the players involved, not their entire alliance as that will not solve anything or speed the process up any.
