Noob guide to success in evony

Ok first guide so be kind... There are 101 guides on how to get prestige and farm this and that and a step by step for noobs.. BUT what i have never seen is a guide or something to give noobs the direction needed to do well.. so here we go..
1. the most important thing when u start up a new server is working towards getting ballistas and being able to farm npcs.. bottom line.. everything u do in BP needs to be about getting to that point..ie... getting to at least archery6-7-8 and hbr 5 or 6 ASAP.. without this ability u will definetly never amount to anything in your evony life.... you should be farming at least level 2-3 nps coming out of bp....
2. the main goal is to be able to farm level 5 npcs.. as fast as you can...this is how u feed your troops .. NOT by building farms....
3.You want to fill the flats surrounding your cites with npcs.. mainly level 5's also 10's.... prevents people from porting in close and provides you with res..
4. A good rule of thumb is to always have an open city slot so you can make npc cities and cap enemy cities as needed..

So with this as your focus along with all the other guides on how to build your cites, and what troops to keep for defense etc.. you should be well on your way to at least having a chance and going in the right direction...

What is npcs? nps? npc cities? I'm obviously rather new to evony.

Another rule is if you join an alliance and are a noob, do not start asking for resources off the bat.

yes npcs= non-player cities.. = barbarian cities
