Prestige Dumping?

I keep seeing all these people dumping mass prestige and goin from 3mil to 500kp on purpose and i can't seem to figure out why , i've looked around alot but haven't read anything and this is alot of ppl doin this not just a few, anyone know?

Edit: Does it have something to do w/ getting more items while farming or getting luckier on the wheel? or getting more medals to drop? yet alot of these players are prinz already , so trying to figure it out. And alot of these players are cash players meaning they have alot of cash tied up on their accounts.

its so people dont know how long they have been playing (longer play time more troops) so if people dont know that they may say "hey ima go hit this guy" and the host says "how big is he?" and the player says " oh he's only 500k" and then you run into a dreadnaught and your pwnt

Another use is anti-robbing. If you reinforce or send resources to a player with 3 x your prestige you get robbed. This is to counter feederaccounts.

I dropped around 1.5m pres. Reason was because i don't have patience.

It is a tactic and quite a clever one, though some alliances might not take you because of it.. People would under estimate you and be like hey what a noob, this will be an easy kill.. then BANG next thing you know your running away with your pants down your ankles

Yeah i'm still not sure that's the core reason , but it is one reason i mean why not just go to like no prestige then , but any player that's been around awhile will always scout.

I had to do this recently, i went from 7.3mil prestige to 2.3mil in about 5minutes..

The only reason was to be RI and have resources sent to me..cant think of another reason to do it seeing as everyone knows about this, making prestige meaningless anyway.
