Because it's extremely hard to get medals with-out constantly raiding now that the drop rate is lower I propose that medals not be a part of promotions or that their role is significanly reduced.

I wholeheartedly agree.Promotion should be based on the OVERALL performance of the player.And that's not only prestige points...

medals are a measure of success gained as you grow
since medals are now easily got if you know hwere to look and it gets progressivly harder to get them as you promote yorself.

so as of now i think teh system is fine as it is.

i think its cool that medals have to be obtained to get promotions,makes you have to work for the promotion but i think prestige,honor and loyality should also be a part of promotions.

The problem with so much emphasis on medals for promotion: Repetitive valley pounding in search of the elusive Rose Medal is getting BORING!

Of course they are hoping we will all get impatient and just buy some medals, but I'm not paying for a grab bag that may be full of the wrong kind of medal. I'm more likely to just quit the game and find more interesting ways to waste time.

yes I agree the new patch made it easier to get them so I dont see why this is still coming up.
