    Post Noobs helper

Hello all. This is my fisrt guide so help me or reply to this post if you feel i messed up.

ok. so this guide is for the noobs who are in their 1st/ 2nd day. your goal in this time is to have a bunch of medium lvl buildings that help you currently. Basically you wont build a lvl10 rally spot and other things like that. You will focus on what you currently need/want. So your goal is to build 9 lvl4 barracks on your 3rd/4th day this will help produce many archers when you come out of beginners protection. u should also have most of your other building at lvl5. I personally only had 9 lvl9 cottages throught the entire game. This is plenty and will offer you enough population until a certain stage. So basically the town section of your city should be filled with lvl5 building and the lvl4 barracks.
Ok on to heroes. Some people want the big heavy base hero with 70 stats. I personally can live with 65. The way to get base lvl is to take heroes stat -heroes lvl. So you want at least a lvl 3 feating hall so that you can have one of each stat. Politics speeds up buildings, intel speeds up research, and attack speeds up troops training time.
I recommend taking valleys that you need the resource boost they offer. I recommend also not going farther than lvl5 valleys as they will give you losses in your currsnt state which might scare you.
OK on to the last part, defense. Defense is a good thing to have. Your walls will determine what you can build and what you cant. I recommend 100 traps and abatis and trebushets and the rest of wall space goes up to archer towers. Also some will say they are useless but they are amazing in defense and those are swordsman and pikeman.
Obviously i think prestige is no biggie so i didnt include anything about it. I will add some more info later in the week.
I thank you all for reading this and plz dont make fun of me if you dont like it. If you have info reply to me and i will add it in there.

Default A great way to start.

This applies to both the newbie/noob and for experienced players who are starting over for whatever reason.

Go to hods.com copy the StartUp Guides. Begin account and follow guides. This will take you step-by-step through your first few days, depending on how much time a day you have to start. It's best to begin when you have a 'weekend' off from your Real Life responsibilities.

Each step in the guide will provide resources for your next steps. You build prestige quickly and get started on all the major factors of building resource fields in city screen, housing population, town support buildings, technology research, troops, and wall defenses.

It is a program of quick growth. I've used it quite a few times and recommended it to many more. No complaints yet.

    Default True

but they dont give any goals they just help overall so in the end you have to demolish a couple things for you to advance in the game

If you are really new - just starting, make sure you hit the city view which shows you the resource producing operations outside the city walls.

If you start off building just inside the walls you will soon run out of wood or stone or such and have a long wait. So you should start building or upgrading sawmills, mines etc. very early.

Also, look at the quests tab under Routine - click thru the left list and it gives you good ideas what to do next and many of those will reward you with the gold, wood etc you need to get a good start without sitting around waiting for enough production to accumulate for the next build.

When you do start getting longer build times, do go look at the more detailed guides - theres no instruction manual just a bunch of guides produced by players. Typically they will each miss something or another or present one option when theres several, so read 2 or 3 of them.
