    Default Alliances

Does anyone know why theres a 100 member alliance limit? is there a strategic reason for this limit? I would think in theory the limit should be 1,000 since 10 embassys at lvl 10 should provide 100 * 10 members.

I can see a obvious reason to put guild limits but im unclear why this limit is so low.

Every one just makes guild name + number for second alliance.

Very few alliances have anywhere near 100 active members. If you look at most alliances that are at maximum capacity, you will find several inactive accounts. Players that have not logged in for 2-4 weeks or more. Creating a 1k alliance limit would create even more inactives in an alliance and would be extremely difficult for a single host to manage. Then there is a matter of war. If any alliance was able to reach maximum capacity, do you thing any sub 100 member alliance would ever declare on them. 1k IMO is an unreasonable alliance size for many reasons... I think Evony has the alliance limits perfect as it is.

As I could recall correctly, Evony was deciding to do the Ultimate Ritual of Pact but soon withdrew the idea (it was when you can get game cents when you invite people).

one way of handling inactive players in alliances is for system to boot them after a set time of inactivity occurs

Now this is bringing up another highly debated topic that is in already discussed in several other threads.
