Okay, just started to play E2.
Don't like colonization.. Looks around, sees a lot of inactives, people that came for the social experience but found it to crave something more than talking. (Read Face Book:). So they left..
And I can't do anything useful with their city's at all. I've tried there are some tricks that worked in E1 to make them into NPCs or flats in a week. But not here..
What I can do is to colonize those poor *******s that actually try to learn the game. Which more often than not will give them another negative incentive to quit..
So I'm looking at farming NPCs instead now, and I found this colonization scheme to be as much 'bullying' as in E1. In some ways E1 is a cleaner game, as long as people treat new players with some decency. Here you just colonize :)
Don't know what to do about that. But I think we should have some possibility to change the inactives f.ex. Also we should have a possibility of reinforce those we colonize for both's benefit. That's how it would have been done historically, with a new town. It wasn't only tributes, it was also help to grow..
So I'm not that impressed so far..
