Managed to break a Lv12 with Cav/Pike/Ram in 3 waves using the standard archers tactics. Total loss of archers was around 300k archers.

Did one Lv12 with Cav/Sword/Catapult and I had a very bad loss. First 2 waves were within expectation since the catapult's slow movement (albeit long range) would not influence the clearing of cav/archers/sword. The 3rd wave could not break the Lv12 as expected and my 4th wave wiped with no report! Broke it with 5th wave but suffered heavy losses. Total loss was abt 600k archers. Very Very bad. Will never attempt combo with catapults (and ballistae) again.

Currently crunching out ballistae. Hopefully my guess of Spawn's mech wave is correct and I can save 1 wave of archers, making my loss less than 200k archers.
