    Default Historical Cities

    Alright, I first want to say a BIG thank you to Butler Jeeves, DC Jerboa, Domi, WolfgangMA, Atlantis1, Woldere, 0Spawn0, and Allidin for all the information they have dug up on Historical Cities. We know that Historical Cities are an addition to the 1-10 lv NPC system. They add level 12,14,16, and 18 to each new Age II server. These new cities are LOADED with troops, resources, defenses. Much bigger than you can imagine.

    Level 18- Gold Flag
    Atlantis.

    Abilitis: Atlantis is the equivalant of colonizing the whole server. That's how amazing this city is. With Atlantis you can Sow Discord, Draft, Disarm troops, Re-deploy Population, and levy food for EVERY SINGLE CITY in the server. You also get 1 lv 18 Farm, Sawmill, Quarry, and Ironmine.

    Only 1 lv 18 NPC in the entire server. I don't even know how you begin to take this baby down. Your going to need a whole alliance in close proximity to Atlantis, sending continual waves of 95k Archers + Rainbow. If you have the Battering Rams, now would be the time to use it.


    Level 16- Blue Flag

    100,100- Washington D.C/ Friesland
    100,300- Prague/ Lower Loraine
    100,500- Paris/ Upper Loraine
    100,700- Ottawa/ Burgandy
    300,100- Beijing/ Saxony
    300,300- Berlin/ Franconia
    300,500- Rome/ Swabia
    300,700- Jerusalem/ Lombardy
    500,100- Loyang/ North March
    500,300- Vienna/ Thurgnia
    500,500- Athens/ Bavaria
    500,700- Canberra/ Tuscany
    700,100- Moscow/ Bohemia
    700,300- London/ Moravia
    700,500- Cairo/ Carinthia

    Basically, theres one every state. If you plan to make an alliance in a particular state, I'd advise you to put your central base around one of these cities

    Abilites: A State Capital is the equivalent of colonizing the whole state. Maybe not as good as Atlantis, but still an amazing prize. With a State Capital you can use Sow Discord, Draft, Disarm troops, Re-deploy Population, and levy food for EVERY SINGLE CITY in the state. You also get a lv 16 Farm, Sawmill, Quarry, and Ironmine.

    Level 14- Green Flag

    Every 66 miles on the x-axis and y-axis starting from 33,33.
    Note: (99,99), (297,297), (495,495), (693,693), Are all skipped, and replaces by a lv 12.

    Abilities: Capturing a Sub-Capital city(this is what I call them) will give you the equivalent of colonizing everything within 66 square miles of you. With a Sub-State Capital you can use Sow Discord, Draft, Disarm troops, Re-deploy Population, and levy food for EVERY SINGLE CITY within 66 square miles of you. You also get a lv 14 Farm, Ironmine, Quarry, and Sawmill


    Level 12- Red Flag


    Every 18 miles on the x-axis and the y-axis starting from (9,9)

    Abilities: Capturing a Mini-Capital City(this is what I call them) will give you the equivalent of colonizing everything within 374 square miles of you. With a Mini-Capital City you can use Sow Discord, Draft, Disarm troops, Re-deploy Population, and levy food for EVERY SINGLE CITY within 374(22x17) square miles of you. You also get a lv 12 Farm, Ironmine, Quarry and Sawmill, with the ability to build level 12 resource fields(you need a mich script to get to lv 10, but you do not need one to upgrade to lv 11/12)

    ^^^^ Shows the area you can draft from if you or someone else has 2 lv 12s in the same area. The grey part is the overlap where both lv 12s can draft from both.


    Theory on how to take:

    Step I. Scouting- The obvious first step is to scout the lv 12 Historic in question. You must get the combonation Warrior/Swordsmen/Archer/Battering Rams for this particular method to work. Send 1 scout at lv 10 informatics everyday until you get this combo

    Step II. Preparation
    - For this method to work, you'll need at least 3-6 cities within a few miles of the Historic in question. You will also need 4 or 5 heroes with 125+ leadership and 300+ attack(Excalibur may be used). Rest of your heroes must be at least 100 attack or so with at least 30 leadership.

    Step III. T/a/d clearing- For a lot of these waves to work, you'll need to whittle down Traps and other pesky fortifications so that your layers do not get crushed before they can even make an impact. Send 30-50 waves of 5-10k warriors, and you should clear most of the warriors.

    Step IV. Clearing troops/fortifications.-
    Wave 1: 120k Archers + layering(takes out Cavs, Archers, and about half Swordsmen depending on hero level



    Wave 2: 120k Archers + layering(takes out remaining Swords and 310k Warriors).




    Wave 3: 120k Archers + layering(takes out ~450k Warriors)


    Wave 4: 121k Archers + layering(Clears everything else)



    Wave 5: 92k Archers + layering(This is merely your insurance wave in case one of your waves didn't work out for whatever reason. Feel free to add more of these if needed).

    Spamming waves: 5k Archers, 10k Warriors. Make sure to respear after each set of waves returns.



    Make sure all waves hit at 1-3s of each other. Make sure to unmount all of your heroes as well. Wave timing is an important factor when hitting lv 12 NPCs.

    Total Troops used- 330-580k Warriors, 575k Archers, Layers.

    Note: Reports used in this guide are thanks to the great pioneers of capturing lv 12s. Thank you all espicially 0spawn0, Woldere, and Warrior. You guys are great!



    Notes: All Historics will change their troop types every server maintenance. I have listed all the possible combination possible. Once you cap the Historic you there is no buildings inside. On the outside, all resource fields are empty except for 1 of each Resource field at the level of the Historical City.
