Welcome to my first Evony Guide.

Please send me any info / questions that I may have wrong, or which has become obsolete because of updates.

Whats so good about facebook boosts?

- 1800 instant free cavalry per day (using the newsfeed)
- Many of the rewards are items that cost game cents.
- You can get them whilst all your build/research/rally/barracks slots are busy.

Getting the Most from Facebook

Whilst you are waiting for a ten minute build / troop / tech, pop over to facebook.

Step one. Open a new Facebook account, with your first name followed by Evony (for example mine is Adam Evony).
(Three reasons for this 1 - Game alerts are annoying for people who don't play them, 2 - you can add anyone you like without having to worry about sharing personal info, 3 People will search for and find you.)

Step two. Find an Evony related photo on the internet for your profile pic, so more people will add you, (I used google image search, but an Evony Screenshot is also good.)

Step three. Search facebook for people / groups / pages with the word Evony
add / join / like them. (Avoid adding too many regular accounts, and feel free to add me.)

Step four. Link your evony and new facebook account.

Step five. Tell everyone in your alliance to add you on facebook and possibly do the same.

Step six. Follow the tips in no specific order.


Tips

10 free cents : Just do what the annoying banner tells you to do at the top of the screen.

Gifts : send lots of gifts and you shall recieve them. (check below for more details on gifts) There is a glitch on facebook that allows you to send too many gifts. Just send one less than the max amount, refresh, and you will be able to send the same number again (this is instead of ally requests.)

Newsfeed : Check your newsfeed and collect the rewards that you want (see below). But it works both ways, when you see icons in your cities activate and share them, and make an announcement on facebook whenever prompted.

Allies: Visit your allies and they shall visit you (and leave a message on their wall). An active Evony Alliance, who visit each other daily will have a definite advantage.

Gifts are great!

When you get gifts they go into the chest section of your items. You can claim upto 20 gifts per day, try claiming 21 as it might not be long until the next day.

Here is a List of all the gifts and what they do.

(If you want to get gifts, you have to give them - you can give double if you don't make any ally requests).

Currently there is another glitch which means you only recieve the lowest rank of each gift, regardless of its name, hopefully this will soon be sorted out. ( I would rather see gifts come down in value and do what they say on the tin).

Update: (Not tested)If you recieve a gift from a sender on your Server who is at a higher level than you the gift will be set to your level. If you recieve a gift from a sender who is at a lower level (or has no account) on ther sever you are using, the gift will be set to the senders level.

not a glitch about the ranked gifts. it is intended. you are knight you will get knight resource or reinforce pack. only gifts that have no 'level' like resource production, exp pack, speed up packs etc, those gifts get gifted. anything else is lowered to the actual rank that the gifted person is. not from the gifter

All gifts are at the base level when I open them - which is minor / civillian

This may be because I have a server at civillian level - (just for checking FB rewards and base costs)

Every day you can claim upto 18 rewards from your news feed, take 19 to check when the next day starts, as it might not be long.

The posts themselves stay active for a long time (more than a day) so its good to choose the right ones for you.

Don't open multiple tabs of gifts, any past the first new tab will glitch with an error message.

Reward - 100 cavalry = (which is 100'000 Food, 60'000 Lumber, 50'000 Iron, and just under 14 hours production time at base level)

Make lots of facebook allies and you will do well.

FB Allies don't have to be in the same alliance as you to recieve a reward, but they do have to be on the same server.

You may help upto 30 allies every day. (but check 31 for daily reset if you have more than 30 allies)

The reward for visiting an ally on the same server is a chest containing

80'000 Food
20'000 Wood
20'000 Stone
20'000 Iron
20'000 Gold

and the reward for being visited is ______ to a cap of ______

To make lots of helpful FB allies I suggest searching FB for you server (ie na1) and adding and joinin any people or groups you find - and write which server you are on on your wall and when making ally requests.

Q - What time does the day begin / reset?
A - Mine is at 6am GMT

Q - Why havent I recieved my rewards?
A - Its probably just lag, try closing your browser window and going back.

Q - Why are there limits on the number of gifts / rewards I can have?
A - Without them the game would be inballanced, as it stands it just gives
you a boost.

Q - How do I remove Facebook Allies?

Q- Why do I get the message: ''We're sorry, this feed can't be click now.41''
A- Too many people have probably clicked on it already, or it may be a glitch due to opening multiple tabs.
