Cinothepony, I have never found that I was skilled enough with words to write for my people. Skilled bards who tell their stories well are few and far between, and it pleases me to no end that I could inspire you to write on your tale again. Should the Gods let me appoint a royal staff, perhaps you could be the royal bard, so that your fame will be known throughout the land as it should be.
Kempion, thank you for your valor in and defense of my virtue and honor. I am not a lady who can be easily taken by the wolves of the land, and generally I live in harmony with them. For all those who wish to protect me, I ask instead you protect the newcomers to our lands, and defend those downtrodden people who's lives have been ruined in war. The widows and the children who will not grow up with a father, a mother, a brother, or a sister. The parents who will never see the shining faces of their children again, for they gave in the service of their country. Go forth and see to the needs of these people, for they have lost much, and need the protection much more than I do.

I see that you have lost no time in working for the good of your people. There could hardly exist a more fitting choice for a queen than one whose zeal and passion is independent of a crown. Very nicely done.
Cool post, well thought out.
I do believe though, that Vulgarwolf was a guy dressed up in a wedding dress... It was funny, and now he's on the forums telling people he was discriminated against....still funny....either way, it was probably right that he was booted from the contest, as although it was pretty apparent he was joking, there would have been tons of posts like it, and then the contest would just be a joke....(moreso, i mean.....no offence).
The suffering of the people does not ease simply because the Gods have many things to do at once. They have called us forth for the contest of the Queens, however I suspect that different Gods are focusing on the contest, while others the plight of the people. Either way it does not take a Queen to stand for the people, and the people will not wait for the contest to be decided to see if their new queen will stand for them, as they suffer now. A Queen it does not take to stand up and voice the will of the people. It only takes the people.

A knight suddenly appears before you, clad in battleworn armor and a helm of a demon. His countenance shows some fear, but his honor allows him to show none. He slowly removes his helm and stares at you for a moment. His auburn hair is long and dirty, as if it has seen many a day without washing. His face is etched in suffering as he looks for a reason to follow.
His voice rings clear across the masses of people, sharp and powerful. "Lady Phoenixe, forgive my pretense. Your words shot through my heart as an arrow of joy. I listened to your words in the Temple of the Gods and my heart did raise in gladness. I have long sought a reason for living, and your powerful words has enlightened me."
"I have rode for many miles to see the ladies compete for the throne of the world. I have watched and studied, I have spoken to the wisest and the eldest amongst us. Their voices led me here this day, and I have heard your voice clear against the chatter of the darkness."
Drawing his sword, battered from long use, "Lady Phoenixe I am jayd666 of server four. I have sought for a reason for myself and my people. What I heard this day has shown me that you are the reason. The word of light in the darkness of the land." Jayd places his sword sword across his hands and kneels.
"I ask, my lady, that you accept my blade in whatever way you see fit. I am a knight, pure and strong. I give my service and life to you, should you deem it necessary. My soldiers and people shall kneel before your feet to pay homage to the one true queen of Evony."
As Jayd presents this the Knights and Archers at his back kneel before you. his voice as clear as the day strikes forth into the crowd, "LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!"
In time immortal two heroes stood
Their names lost to myth
But their legacy lives on

Gamboholic, had you bothered to read any of the thread, you would see that not only is this not part of the Queen contest, but SHE isn't bumping anything. She has only responded to people who have posted in her thread. That isn't bumping, that is looking after a topic you start. She obviously cares about topic, and didn't start it just to abandon it like many of them around here.
The young woman rises and steps forward to stand, not before, but among the supporters who have gathered before her. Stepping through the crowd she gently touches each person on the arm in familiarity and friendship. As she speaks tears form in her eyes, and her voice slightly cracks from the deep emotions welling up withing her.
“I am touched at all your support, loyalty, kind words, and passion. I accept your support with humility, and hope that I can serve each of you as your loyalty here has served me.
Jayd666, please rise, for you are a champion of your people, and should kneel to no one, least of all a friend, and it is in my heart that I befriend you and all the people in the lands.
Sukasai is right though in that this hall is for the Gods, and there is place for the Queens contest. If you would all follow me to the hall of Ratsrus, so that we may await the voting there in peace, and leave this hall to the Gods, and discussions with them.”
With that the lady Phoenixe guides herself to a door, the words upon it carved out in some lost meaning read
“ http://bbs.evony.com/showthread.php?t=11656 “
For those who follow her, they will find a hall to feast in, and the lady Phoenixe already pouring tankards of mead to be served to all her loyal supporters.
