Or actually the lack of sound!

    Do you like it? Not?

You're gonna have to speak up. I can't hear a thing.

I like the lack of sound. It allows me to watch Netflixs without worrying about annoying sounds in the background.

How do you know when buildings are built or troops are recruited or anything that you might be waiting for to happen?

At the stage I'm at I don't really have any buildings being built and I fill my barracks with troop ques'. I only really need to check every once in a while to re-que and send out farmers if I'm not attacking someone. If I'm attacking I'll be concentrating more and wont need to know when something is done because I'll see it.

Ok... Now remember to those days (years and years ago) when you were building... Do you think you might have liked sounds then?

No. I turn the sound off in most games, and this game has the definite lack of options for turning stuff off, and considering a lot of players play at work or otherwise don't want to disturb those around them, they'd want to turn the sounds off.

But....the eternal ray of sunshine REALLY wanted to see you, so I helped brighten your day by removing the city from around you! ^.^

But Evony is such a slow game, I find myself playing while doing other stuff. Sometimes I'm chatting, e-mailing, surfing or whatnot, and I'm so into whatever I'm doing that the game building or upgrade ends, and I'm not aware of it. So a half hour passes and then I realize: "Oops, I could have been building another "whatever" and that half hour is wasted.
Even if it was a little "Bing!" I'd be happy. I'd like to hear a "tada!", but has anyone even heard that since like Win95 ?

Not really. Some sound every 5-15 minutes when something finished building or researching would get annying after a while. Especially on resource fields where the build time isnt very long to begin with.
Just my opinion though, I'm sure others have different ones.
