They changed how the teleporters worked in server merges over time. It used to be that the ports didn't knock you out of truce. I think I covered that quite some time ago...and was told that I was biased for saying that was a significant negative
As I said back then, it harms smaller players more than larger players, because the larger players will likely come out of truce before the end of the 7 days anyway, as they will have a need to gather food... The smaller players though would need more time to get situated, so the forced-expiry of the truce status punishes them, as they are then vulnerable to attack earlier than they were in previous merges (n4 and older)...
