Neither have I! It's absolutely beautiful though isn't it? You can't help but admire it. The only problem is I really should dull the blades. It's very sharp! lol

And that... thing... WOW. I am a collector of medieval cutlery and Eastern, and I've never seen something like that.

If I get stabbed by that, just leave it in me. I think it hurts worse taking it out.

dang, that thing is awesome. I wish i had one, it'd be alot of fun just to chop something in half with that. Probably more fun to stab people with.

Depending on the manufacturer (which should be stamped on the variety of blades or the hilt somewhere), it may not be durable enough to attack a tree with. Try something softer first.

Also, I've been an avid collector of various medieval cutlery for many years (and yes, I'm female, too), and have pilfered flea markets, sword/cutlery stores in tourist areas (like Gatlinburg, TN ~ awesome knife store there), and many online areas...never seen one like that. Very wicked looking.

I prefer blades that resemble Gil Hibben's work, myself.

Oh don't dull the blades! That is fantastic. Too many sword replicas you buy these days are dull. This being sharp could mean someone put a lot of work into making it more then just a replica ...

Very true. I didn't think about that. I'll definitely keep the way it is. One day it's going to be the death of me though lol. I've snagged clothes and everything on it and it heads straight for my feet. I love it though!

Oooh!! Me likey! Lol. I wish I had something like that for my collection. And yes Jay, I do have a very large collection of weapons. So be afraid. Be very afraid. Lol. Actually I probably should have used one of my olde fashioned swords in my entry pics, but I decided last minute not too because pretty much everyone else was doing it. Lol. So I went with the rose: beautiful, but armed with poisonous thorns! Lol.
