    Default Age 2 Instant Troops

    In age 2 can you make Instant Troops. Some people so no but i want to know can you. Please post and discuss.

    Heroes attack can never get high enough for instant troops of any kind in age 2.

    So then whats the lowest amount of Seconds you can get to build Warriors

    There was a bug in Age II in which the timer on troop building was off allowing for troops to be made in a very small fraction of the time. The issue was resolved quickly by Evony.

    As to the fastest time to make a warrior, it's an interesting question that doesn't inspire me to do more than note it is an interesting question.

    Check out the post made by The Real McCoy. He did a great job researching the troops build speeds on all the units and compared them with Age 1 build times. You'll see that the build times in Age 2 have been significantly slowed down.

    The point several folks missed in that thread though is that the new setup actually forces you to use strategy instead of just getting a huge pile of troops and slapping a massive attack hero on the front to kill everything in your path.

    I have to disagree. You claim this adds to the strategic aspect of the game, but all it really does is make it even harder for those who are colonized to build an army large enough to break free.

    The real strategy is in Age 1, where there is far more at stake. How does an alliance survive after being betrayed, taken down to 1/3 it's former size, and suffering repeated daily attacks by an enemy that has armies 100 times the size of their own? Strategy keeps them alive, and I know this because I was a part of an alliance that survived that.

    When you take all the sharp instruments and obstacles out of a room, it no longer requires any strategy to cross it, even in the dark.

    I have no problem with leveling the playing field and making this more of a strategic game, but why slow the training speeds down so much? They could have stayed with the Age 1 build times and leveled things out at the same time.

    The fun factor in this game is being able to build troops, use them and rebuild in a short period of time.
