Default Can't we have a discussion without closing threads?

Just like the title says. While I somewhat agree with you Foxy that the thread "plunder reports" was borderline, there were some quality points starting to come up. While the OP did not express his views in nicest or concise way, he was pointing out an obvious flaw in the game's design that makes playing it NO FUN.

My question to you is how can we create topics where these discussions can be started and not have to worry about the thread being closed? There are many areas that we as players see as problems with your game that we would like to point out. The problem is that these threads are consistently being closed.

So what can we do to solve this problem?

The problem is whenever someone finds a flaw or points out a known one, it seems to attract people who just want to bash Evony and flame everyone. The only real way to not get those threads closed is to ignore anyone that comes in firing and keep it clean and on topic.

Threads created just to question moderation actions taken by the staff cannot stay open, no.

If you want to start a new thread to discuss the validity of a game mechanic, like reinforcements/plunders, please feel free to do so. If the thread remains on topic, doesn't bash other players/forum members/staff, and remains calm, we'll happily let it stay open and will even encourage it by posting in it with answers to questions if we can.
