That's because they're stupid. Anyone who buys an Apple product is stupid. The things simply suck massive donkey, no way around it. AT&T also sucks massive donkey. I've always hated Apple for their one-year-only devices (that's how long you'll have before you need to replace it) and this doesn't surprise me at all.

I don't know WHAT you do with your iPod that makes it only last a year.
