If China went to war with the U.S, who would win?

I'm going to say China.

The US is far too dependent on Chinese imports and foreign oil. While initially, yes...US would appear to easily win, China would simply shut down all economic ties to the US and blockade the import of oil. Were China to rise against the US...enemies from all over the world would suddenly crawl out of the woodwork to fight as well. There is no doubt Russia would side with China. As well as the entire Middle East and Africa. All of eastern Europe would side with Russia and Britain/Eastern Europe would have to think long and hard about whether or not they wanted to get involved. My guesstimation is that they would sit back and let it all play out.

But, China and the US are not going to go to war. They are too dependent on each other. They are like a married couple that have separated but cannot get divorced because of the mortgage, the kids, and credit card debt.

And also, military power is not the deciding factor in weighing a super power.
