Feedback please re: suppression
Yesterday an alliance member got colonized at (06/09 22:21:43) by a player; he lost & the War Report clearly indicated the "Your city is being invaded. Colonization period begings...blah blah blah".
As such he was reinforced by nearby alliance-mates but lo n' behold at 06/10 06:21:43 - there was no fight. I checked his city, it didn't indicate a suzerain, I had no missing reinforcements, no reports, etc. nada - and there continued to be nothing for an additional near to 7 hours..
Finally at 06/10 13:12:02 the supposed fight happened (or a new fight) w/ the same attacker. (this time we won)
Now - did the suppression bug out and just simply never happen and my alliance mate was attacked again? or did suppression spontaneously decide to take 15 hours instead of 8?
How can we prepare for things like this? If the suppression fight did bug out and does eventually trigger - what will happen? What data will it use; the appropriate data from 8hrs after the initial attack - or will it be a new time - making the suppression fight 20, 30 maybe 40 ..hours long?
Does anyone have any suggestions?
