Age I has run it's course, and is on it's last legs.

Players spending a lot of money to buy a victory doesn't mean the game is alive and well. The game has run its course due to a lack of re-playability for those who can only have a max of 2 cities and keep getting wiped out by those with 8-9 cities. When the only set of players that get to have good replayability are those who spent tons of cash on the game, there is something wrong, and the game is not alive and well.

The servers may be running fine, the income for Evony might be fine, but the game is not.

That wasn't your original point...anyway if its hard to get past 2 cities thats evonys fault for reducing rose drop rates to next to nothing...and as long as evonys income keeps rolling in they have no reason to drop age1,and lose a lot of customers in the process.

Besides,if new servers keep filling up with non buyers and the buyers...how can you say its not alive and well?

Who are you to say that isn't my original point?

Yeah, but you know, some people call those people that are stuck at Knight as "lazy" people who have "no brain" and lack "dedication" to send troops on 3-4 hour round-trip marches because their local area is clogged with either NPCs or player-controlled valleys for just the tiny chance that they might find a rose or lion medal...because, well, their local area is clogged with either NPCs or player-controlled valleys (which don't drop medals because there are typically no troops in them)...

...and yeah, I know you didn't personally say that, but that's the attitude that I've seen from others...

For people stuck at Knight, server merges would help, because at least it'd clear up some valleys around them so it might be more viable to medal hunt...

I have to agree with Ashanta here. I am not going to spend money buying ports, building large war cities and spend hours wiping out players.

I work on-line so evony is just a few clicks away 14 hours a day. Recently I realized I was spending all my free time on the game just to defend my right to - farm?? O_O . Peeps still spend money and still play, but I want my life back. I've reached my personal goals and am at my end game. I would hazard a guess there are many more like me. It was fun however . . .

First on my list after retirement is to spend 6 hours out of the house not having to worry about losing a city.
