    It isn't whether coding is hard or not, it's a matter of resources needed to develop two different code bases for two different versions. Having to develop seperate versions requires splitting the dev team up or having them work on two different versions at the same time.

    Example: if you have 10 developers working on a project, and decide to create a separate version of that, you either need to hire more devs or split them between the two versions or have them work on both at the same time. Each project would require a certain amount of manhours to complete, and splitting them between the two projects or having them work on both at the same time means you end up doubling the amount of actual time required to finish the projects.

    A prefomance option like windows has to take away the anmation not a whole design

    So would you say then that the time needed to complete a project is directly proportional to the number of projects simultaniously being worked on?
