I use 90K archer, 3K scout, 3K warrior, 2K worker, 2K transports, with a lvl 100 hero with 224 atk and average losses of 7.3K archer for defending hero's up to level 20, with no war horn or anything else.

On a side note, I tried this same setup with my queen, who has 200 atk, but is only lvl 55, and lost everything, transports included.
