When I need to send troops over, i send over my politics hero, demo my lv 4 barracks and build a rally spot.
But how do you switch your rally spot back to a barrack? You have to have lvl1 rally spot for all barrack constructions, so you'd have to pull down one of the cottages, build the barrack, pull down the rally spot, build a cottage and then upgrade it back up to max level.

Am I missing something? I'm always on the hunt for extra barracks

Thank you for this guide. I am fairly new to the game and your guide is tremendously helpful. I only log on for a short few hours during my quiet times. I still need to get my town up to speed to increase our position in the alliance.

good point, that is the only way to do it lol i guess its a super hardcore version of getting an extra barracks, but it depends on how often he has to do it as well.

Default what about food and stone

First of all, thanks a lot for this guide, I guess it will help me a lot.. However, I have one dull question: you mention iron and lumber cities.. But army is a great food consumer. How fo you prvide them with it.. Moreover, what is your ideal repartition with stone?
    thanks!

Make one quarry and that's it because you don't need too much stone later on once you have built up your wall (buy the stone you need if you build catapults). Sell your lumber/iron and buy food because it should be cheaper than iron/lumber.

Also go farm NPC lvl 5's for lots of constant food throughout the day
