    nice guide i agree with everything cept cottages but thts only cuz im not on all day due to work so i have 9 cottages just so i can que enuf troops to last me awhile

    and i feel that the 50/50 resources works best for age 2 since troops take so long to build

    By doing the train one warrior or adjust tax rate trick, do you need to do that in each city? If so then a quicker trick is to just restart Evony. As soon as you restart all the pop is at max with 0 production. Shame it doesn't work in reverse too lol

    Have to do it in each city yes, but its best to just go to change tax rate, you don't acutally have to chance it, you just have to click "Ok" takes 2 seconds sine your in the window to lower production anyway.

    Food for thought after awhile wood and iron sell about the same price. So I build all my cities with saw because sawmill require less population then ironmill = less cottage = more barracks. I keep 5 L9 cottage and 39 L9 sawmill you will get 5000 population with 0% tax which it enough to work with especially when you keep up with que. Never need to mess with the tax and use comfort. But is not a lazy man way to go but if you can log on more then 4 time a days you should be golden. I try to build 3 cities per group so only 1 of the 2 have market. Got so much resources my 10th city was a all barracks city (26), 2 cottage, and 0 production. Total barracks in 10 cities = 201.

    I have a city with 25 barracks. I take out literally everything I don't need. I have the barracks, 4 cottages(farm city). Feasting Hall, Academy, and relief station are the only other buildings there. All barracks are level 9(except for 1 lv 10 and a lv 4). When I need to send troops over, i send over my politics hero, demo my lv 4 barracks and build a rally spot.

    wow thats Hardcore for the 1 extra barracks I love it

    Remember you want at least 1 of your Cities to have a Lv5 Feasting Hall to Enquire Details for Historical Heroes, so make sure you leave one up in one town.
    should be "Inn" obv.

    Nice guide btw, would rep but have to spread it around first.

    Maybe I'm just not a fast enough "clicker" but I've noticed that when you first log in and production is at zero, the act of allocating a troop build causes your population to adjust to the proper level, so if I have, let's say, 19 barracks and do a build for 8500 archers, the first barracks gets its build but then the act of allocating that build causes the population to adjust, leaving only the real idle pop.

    That sounds confusing so in short, this doesn't work for me. I end up with only a few of my barracks with troop builds allocated and the rest empty.
