Thread: How do respond?

    Default How do respond?

A member of my alliance ported into a new state with a fresh lvl 10, with no towers. Red flags all around him, but that's the way he likes it.

He built up a few NPCs to farm and started building his ATs. Two days later he gets scouted by a rival alliance and they launch two 100k warrior waves, one 60k layers arch wave, one 75k layered arch wave, an 80k layered arch wave, and two 97k layered arch waves. All timed to hit within a 3 minute window.

The wall defenses on my buddies town were minimal. Only like 1400 ATs he said.

However, he had something like 150k archers, 150k warriors and 20k pikes/swords in the town. Another alliance member reinforced with 170k archers before the attacks hit. The enemy alliance scouted 30 seconds prior to the hit and then recalled all attacks.

First Question: Assuming lvl 10 techs all around (which wasn't entirely the case...but just assume lvl 10 for this situation), how would that battle have gone do you think?

    1400 ATs
    200 traps
    150k warriors
    20k pikes
    20k swords
    320k archers

    vs.

    100k warriors, no layers
    100k warriors, no layers
    60k layered arch
    75k layered arch
    80k layered arch
    97k layered arch
    97k layered arch

Second question: How should he respond to their mail that they sent after they recalled?

All it read was: "no honor for u, gl feeding those rein, lmao." Pretty lousy mail, if you ask me. Not that they knew, but only 170k archers were reinforcing. They recalled all their attacks because they were afraid of losing their precious 400k odd archers....and then send a mail they think is going to sting.

I normally don't respond to silly letters like that, but what would you do?

    I'd send a mail back saying something along the line of;

"Yep, good thing about my reins is, they cost less to feed than the troops you recalled because you were too scared to lose them. Also, thank you for not unloading honor on me. Thats another day I can go with having better heals than you."

I wouldn't even respond. They obviously did that because they were upset they had to recall and are just trying to get to you. No response is going to bother them more then lashing back at them.

Ok... feeding 170k arch is waaaaay easier than 400k... Also, 'No honor for you'? What is he, the honor nazi? Lastly, by saying that, he's implying that honor is good.

No one is going to offer up their opinions on the possible attacks? He only had 1400 ATs....

depends on how the defender reacted/heal rates/timing new traps built/healing between waves(if there was time)/hero lvls of both defender and attacker/layer count on the smaller waves....

just to hard to say one way or the other from the info you gave, I would say that the attacker would not get so much as a report but it depends heavily on how the defender reacted to say for sure.

There was plenty of time to heal in between waves. They were spaced out like 30-40 secs each.

I think the ATs would have gone down in the first arch hit, and in the end the defender would have lost around 150k archers.

First warrior waves would've done little if anything. Once the archers started coming in, you'd be losing about 20 - 30k archers per wave. At the end, I'm guessing there'd be about 200k archers left, and not much of anything else - unless you had time to heal.

But... That's just if they were hitting in the order you listed them.

    first of all don't respond

maybe just send a smiley face

second of all that could have won in the right order timed right but probably lost, heroes would have made the difference

either way I guess they were not willing to take such huge losses
