We've all heard the quote about those who don't know their history are doomed to repeat it. We also use the past to judge future progress. My questions, to the OT, are a few. Is there anything we as people have blinded ourselves to from the past that would keep us from a bright future? If so, why do you think we have not learned from it? Is there a point where using our history to judge our future hurts the future more than helps it? If so, what point would that be, in your own views, or if not, why isn't there? Just to keep this a bit more active, if anyone can think of any other questions they would like answered on this vein, I would ask the moderators to allow them to be treated like my original post.
