Hi All,
Can anyone from canada or has studied there or is still studying, is it great to study there? and can you tell me pls what do you lecture in grade 11 and 12.
And anyone can give me any info also about there.
I have searched already but i want more info.

Land of milk and honey...
I am Canadian. As you can see, I am located "a little ways north of Montreal".
As I write this morning, the mercury is rapidly climbing towards 30 degrees Celcius on a bright, sunny day. We usually get warm summers. But winters will be cold and snowy. If you learn nothing else of Canada, learn this: We do not need to move around the planet much. The planet changes under us four times a year with each season. And each one is intense. I know of no brighter springs than those we get up here. Or more glorious summers. Fall can be melancholy made scenery. And winter is crisp, clean and pure (away from the city, that is).
That is Canada.
I wouldn't tell you about school here. It's been too many years since I attended. I'd be curious about memmbers of the community contributing to this conversation, however.

Well i went to Canada and im Australian (i went there in Summer) and it was really cold.

I'm a canadian too.... I am from Westen Canada. It's a great place to live, as there are plenty of mountains for ski and board enthusiasts ( like myself), and in the summer, there is great mountain biking and hiking on those ski hills.
To agree with the above posts, temperatures soar to above 30 degrees celsius in the summer (its made it to 40 where i live), and can get down to negative 30 in the winter.
It's also very diverse land. From praries to marshes and forests to tundra. Definately worth visiting

Studying? He wants to know about studying in Canada? I've got something for you to study my friend. Okay, its a few things. First, is pot. It may not be legal, but that does not mean we that more then 60% of the population doesn't do it. Second: Drinking age of 19. Everywhere. We will keep this thread free of negative feelings towards Canadians of any and all provinces.

As well as from my experience it does vary. Big cities have a much richer curriculum than the country I found (I attended both a country and a city high school). In the city there are a lot of different kinds of classes available depending on where you are looking (I'm from Ontario), what city you're in, and what you're interested in.
For instance, in the country I was able to take shop and the grade 11 project (I had left by then) in advanced shop was a co-op where you actually built a house with 2 contractors overseeing the work (framing). We also had a full salon to practice our cosmetology in the school itself.
What they didn't have which I took in the city was Philosophy, World Issues, advanced Calculous, computer programming, etc. More intellectually challenging than physically overall.
