I am Canadian. As you can see, I am located "a little ways north of Montreal".

As I write this morning, the mercury is rapidly climbing towards 30 degrees Celcius on a bright, sunny day. We usually get warm summers. But winters will be cold and snowy. If you learn nothing else of Canada, learn this: We do not need to move around the planet much. The planet changes under us four times a year with each season. And each one is intense. I know of no brighter springs than those we get up here. Or more glorious summers. Fall can be melancholy made scenery. And winter is crisp, clean and pure (away from the city, that is).

That is Canada.

I wouldn't tell you about school here. It's been too many years since I attended. I'd be curious about memmbers of the community contributing to this conversation, however.
