    I support 1 and 3.
    I am buying all the food I can find, just in case it takes a few weeks before they fix this problem. If nothing happens within a few days, then I am pretty sure food will pass wood on the marked.

    i have food upkeep 23 mil food per hourl total
    HOW THE HELL CAN I FEED THEM????

    Something needs to be done to fix this, right now I don't really care what, although the sheer amount of food consumed by my army is a little disconcerting, and it's something I'd like to see changed. As well as a 6 or so hour respawn timer on the NPCs.

    and I think Gazza was just the only one to mention it to the players.

    I think he was getting more like 300k food every hour from them.
    I saw the reports from today (~1 hour ago), 30 minutes apart, 3000000 food... it seems they quite literally did simply adjust the rate when certain units were used... that or for some reason some NPC's work as before... If the server hadn't crashed I could tell you more and post the reports...

    Edit: add one unit to the ballista/transport mix yourself. I tried it and got the max food 2 attacks in a row...

    Please, for goodness sake, just let us play in peace. We're tired of having to play against the devs every 2 weeks. I vote for 1 and 2. I'd just gotten to the point where I could have made 100k ballistas in a week. But thanks to you, as I have said elsewhere I have nothing to do.

    1,000,000,000 food will feed 4.6million archers per 24hours...
    1,000,000,000 food will last you around 7days with 650k archers...
    So do the maths on your army size and how much food you got....

    Oh, im 2 lazy to do the maths for cavalry and everything else...

    i like ideas 1 and 2

    #1 set at 4 hrs would be fair... even 6 hrs is doabe
    #2 the cost to upkeep troops is crazy... could even add a lvl 7 tech to reduce upkeep (as nothing currently requires lvl 7 academy for a tech)

    Ok, I'm finally gonna make a post on something that truly matters... I agree that the regen rates should be put to 6 or 8 hours, something where it will lessen the amount of food, but not have everyone relying completely on other players... what they did now is pretty much going to make every new player a target... The devs really need to find someone that will find a mid-point on any more "fixes"... seems like each time they change something, its set waaay off beyond reason. If they made this change on a new server, where people haven't established an army yet, i can see it being ok, but when we already have expansive armies, its not reasonable at all.

    EDIT: I also agree with decreasing the troop upkeep.

    I still think the regen rate si dependent on the level of the barb city... why would a level 1 take as long as a level 8?...
