You guys were the ones who made armies you couldn't handle without a specific situation. Ask any real general, or anyone in the real world. Doing something that hinges ENTIRELY ON ONE SMALL THING is a bad move every time.

You all are over reacting anyways. Build a few storage towns. A couple towns with all farms, with level 9 agriculture and even a half decent 100ish politics hero will earn you around half a million food/hour. Break your army in half when it's not in use. Two towns like this making a million total food/hour + a few million a day from NPCs and whatever you get from farm players will easily hold up an army a few hundred thousand strong.

You just need to be smarter than the game. Figure out how you have to do it to make it work. Don't be mad because they stopped you from doing something that was ridiculous in the first place. Anybody who didn't see this nerf coming and thought this was how it was meant to be has obviously got little experience with these types of games.
