    When inputting Base Attack bear the range in mind e.g. when defending archers target a scout layer they will always use base attack of 60; the scout layer won't be moving so they'll always be beyond 50% range, whereas a cavalry layer will most likely charge into the archers' 100% damage zone in the first round - so input 120 base attack if this is the case.

    don't use autoheal and no coords then.

    I have 2 hypothesis:

    a) base life * (SQRT(2))^FLOOR((stars-1)/4)

    0-4* -> base life*1
    5-8* -> base life*1.4
    9-12* ->base life*2
    13-16* ->base life*2.82

    b) 5+4+3+2+1 * -> +40+60+80+100+120 %

    0-4* -> base life*1
    5-8* -> base life*1.4
    9-11* ->base life*2
    12-13* ->base life*2.8
    14* ->base life*3.8
    15* ->base life*5

    Until now no one report for 12 stars.

    Very recent tests, 9 stars do +100% life and +197.1 in leadership formula. I was sure that i tested very well that and was only +150, but now ...

    Buxom wenches add 1% to research, if 6 buxom and research 10 (+50% to base life) then both do +56%.

    I can't test again uprise buffs must be 5% to iron working (before both, uprise and buxom, was different)

    Its just hero attack that is reduced by 50% when you are out numbered yeah, intelligence and life isn't penalized

    What's the minimum leadership required for a hero to be able to hit npc 10 successfully?

    I got star set 13 now. how do you want to test it?

    The first time I saw this thread, I never bothered to read past the first couple posts. Now that I actually read it, I realize how much important information Ive missed.

    Id love to help testing in any way. My knowledge in battle mechanics is definitely lacking compared to many of you, but Id love to help in any way I can and I would love to learn.

    Any further info on this? Which hypothesis is closer to correct? I'm gonna make a beta age2 calculator and you guys can test it.

    hey , i was testing evocalc and found this

    if i send pikes= 80% of archer or more , only pikes die
    if i send pikes= less than 80% of archer , only archer die
