Dude, this is what you said:
I do not only attack NPC's. And historicals owned by enemies are not NPC's, they cease becoming NPC's and become an enemy stronghold that controls an entire area. So players within that area of control have a right to attack it. I also pointed out that there are also many other forms of attack as a colonized player. Let me repeat them:
1. By uprising. Uprise/Supression battles are battles. Attacks. Which is why they show in the SUZERAINS war reports as an attack.
2. By attacking enemy held historicals
3. By reinforcing other players and helping them uprise. My troops attack the Suzerain.
4. Valley battles. Fighting in valleys with enemies. I have sent waves of 100k archers to valleys that were reinforced by the enemy
... etc...
Do I use defenses? Yes. Are the defenses my own army and the AT's, traps, etc... in my walls? No. If any army could use the defenses of another army to protect it at a very cheap price, I am sure they would do it. Especially when the price if far less than what it would cost me to do it and the lives of my troops are not in harms way due to the defense.
Do armies hide behind their defenses? Yes. That is why they are called defenses. And packing a city with 1 million archers, full walls and a 800 attack hero renders any attack basically harmless to the city owner. But I don't hear you complaining about that. Defense is defense id defense. Defense at the cheapest cost/performance ratio is the best defense. And that is simply what I do. It's called smart playing.
As for hiding my army so I can build up, what's wrong with that? Every army in the world does that. It is good strategy. Every army has secret training areas where troops can be built up in preparation for a major offensive.
Edit: And you actually posted in the "hate on japanpimp". It was a joke. I was not expecting anyone to actually post in it.
