I agree with this line of thinking as well. Honor (and lots of it) is generally viewed as an evil feature of this game; good players can't wait to get rid of it especially when they're planning a big attack on someone.

There had been good suggestions here on tweaking the game mechanics a bit to make honor a good thing, something that players will strive for the same way they do prestige, but I don't think it will ever happen for Age I. >.>

(For the record, I only made this thread to quench my curiosity; I haven't seen any alliance/player gain 1 billion honor/prestige. But since I also opened it for discussion, I appreciate the feedback. )
