Thread: Rule changes

Any updates that are going to be done should be posted before hand with the patch notes. At least 24 hours in advance, a week if possible. This allows the players to prepare for the game changes. To log on one day and everything be topsy turvy is unfair to loyal customers. I've never played a game where patch notes weren't released before changes were made.

Lets see... you got the "no exception" part right, Plenty of flaws here

"just goes to show how much more serious they are about getting it right"?
PLEASE! No offense to you but they have done anything but get it right.

They are way to busy listening to the whiners about hiding resources at the market, or Balista spamming NPC cities, Or Scout spamming for medals, Sure they jump right on that meanwhile server 3 has been running like a pentium 3 for 3 weeks. How about they quit catering the the cry babies and address a real problem for a change. And PLEAAASSSEEE! don't use the ole it's an overcrowding issue and that's why their adding new servers line! They are adding new servers to get more people that might actually pay them money before the server turns to crap like i did on server 3. If it is truly an overcrowding issue "which it is not" then it is not going to get better untill the offer to move people lock, stock, and barrell from the overcrowded server to one of the less crowded servers that work better "if there is one" Because no one is going to leave everything they built and start over just to have the same thing happen to them again. So if they really want to keep shoveling the bull poop about overcrowding then they need to do something other then add new servers. Like maybe limit the number of people allowed on a server?
offering to move alliances to a new server? they have made no real steps to corect anything except to pasify a few cry babies. Sorry if the truth hurts but if it's Donkey don't call it a race horse and expect it to win any races!

Also, if I'm right Tribal Wars and Travian constantly make game corrections whenever they start a new server, so the fact that Evony is doing it to all the servers just goes to show how much more serious they are about getting it right.
I've played FFXI for almost six years now and I played WOW for a year after release. Don't insult us. I will admit this is my first game of its kind. I understood the lag and the server crashes, although they were pretty unprofessional about it (not letting us know what was going on, etc.). Changing the game mechanics is a different story, it's not like medals where it just creates a pain in the a$$. This has completely crippled a huge portion of the population, effectively scaring off everyone with the biggest epeens that I know. Although we may laugh at this, we should also all know that epeen people make games like this fun.
