Thread: Question To the Game Admins

Default Question To the Game Admins

Everyone knows that the NPC cities are nerfed by now.

Also, we all know that the easiest way to overcome this nerf is by creating countless NPCs around ourselves.

The question is, what and when do you plan to do about this loophole?

Perhaps they will simply turn abandoned cities into rubble for 24 hours, thus rendering the valley useless for that time.

exactly... they didn't really "fix the problem"... they simply shifted the tactic... and will cause it to happen again since they didn't think it through entirely... causing people to be upset a second time over something that could have been changed once...

why make people mad once when you can do it twice... lose customers twice!

I don't see any exodus of players. There are a lot of hurt feelings over the npc exploit being fixed, but that is hardly a concern if you didn't abuse it in the first palce.

I really don't think they care so much if we make NPCs. The fix so far has been done to the extent they needed. Now food is much harder to come by, but it's still possible to get it from NPCs. Making more NPCs is more likely something that falls into good strategy. Now I understand people think it's going to cause the whole game world to be full of nothing but NPCs, but I don't think it will. A lot of flats are too low of level to be worth making into NPCs.

I do see it as a bit of a problem since we have so few flats compared to valleys, but it's much less of one.

WHat are you on about ??

Anyone with more thank 10k army needs to farm NPC's

    NEVERMIND a 400k-500k army !!!!

Unless your a complete noob you will have gad to farm npcs otherwise no way you could compete.

They have effectively forced us to force lesser people out of this game, we need the food they have little armies

Exactly. And once they leave the game, their towns turn into nice NPC's that give even more resources. I promise you, within a week, the forums will be flooded with "advanced players are abusing us" threads.

It seems like you didn't know, the level of valleys and flats do change over time. I think it changes every time there is a server maintenance or every certain hours.

All you have to do is keep paying attention to the flats until it is at the level you wanted it to be. Adding your favorite NPC farm as your friendly neighbour isn't hard at all.

the problem with your little fix, is that even if you create NPC towns, you will not be only person taking advantage of them, causing you even more frustration. How about you build an army that you are able to support without having to farm NPC towns 500 times a day? I can tell you that an army of 60-80 thousand is easily, easily supported by a player with only 3 towns. If you built a million soldiers thinking that unintended game bug will last forever, well now you can watch most of them die. too bad, so sad.

If it was such a problem, they should have just buffed the barbs with anti siege defenses.

Nerfing regen just promotes abuse of the ability to make barb towns.
