    Re-ran the experiment and got the same numbers... should do another test in a different setting, if that comes back the same, its safe to say stars do 'work' in battle
    maybe test it on an NPC this time.

    I can't help but note that you're definitively declaring a 1.5-2% variance, which can easily be explained away by any kind of random modifier in the battle mechanics (such as a "die roll" type of modifier), as concrete proof, yet with the medals thread, 1000s of percentage difference is "just variance"...

    There is no variance in the battle engine.

    I can hit that valley endlessly, and I will kill the exact same troops every time.

    All im saying, is that my test may not be 100% proof that stars have an effect in battle.

    I ran tests too and found results similar to Woldere so they seem to affect attack but only for battles...
