Thread: Major AgeII bug.

  1. #1

    Default Major AgeII bug.

I have tested and confirmed this using multiple heros with ranging loyalty including 4 heros with 100 loyalty:

On ANY loss to another player a hero with any loyalty is being captured 100% of the time.

    Steps to repro:
    1) Attack a player with 1 scout and a level 100 100 loyalty hero

This hero will be captured 100% of the time it looses.

The check against loyalty is always failing.

So be careful attacking, as this means your historics will be captured as well if they have the portrait/quest and you loose a battle against them.

Seems odd that nobody else has reproduced this yet (at least on the forums).

I captured 100 heroes day before yesterday. It certainly is reproducable.

It is 100% capture rate if you have enough room.

You can even capture heroes that you are unable to use. (you just cant persuade)

i think I have seen several posts hinting at it, but this is for sure an issue, I have had 4 100 loyalty heros captured (intentionally) testing it.

Here is one post mentioning some goofyness, but not directly reporting the issue. I know I saw another one around here where an evony representative responded with something like "Heros have a chance to be captured with any loyalty". Which is true, but it should not be 100% of the time with 100 loyalty.

Thanks for the heads up, in any event. I'll make sure to play it safe for now.

It is 100% of the time for sure...I can certainly confirm it.

Takes a lot of releasing captive heroes..but I did capture 100 heroes this way in just a couple hours when I got spammed....was great for my acheivement buffer.

yeah this was the response they said they got from Evony:

Thank you for contacting Evony Customer Service. Heros have a chance to be captured when defeated, and it has nothing to do with their loyalty.

I'm not sure if this is a direct quote or not from the customer service rep, but I cannot imagine they intentionally made heros have a 100% capture rate.
