Thread: Emo rage

    Default Emo rage

For 3 weeks, I have heard the raves to my frustration.
Do this, do that, you phail, stupid noob.

    This just in, emo ragers.

    Dismiss your armies.

Poof, problem solved. You can do that alot quicker than I can build the 4 billion defences and research the 4 billion researches needed to defeat those armies. One city. Looks like a city. Has 14 cottages and 4 Barracks, not 6 Cottages and 14 barracks. When the end comes, it will still be there.

You know what this nerf does? It slows the game down. In 3 weeks I have watched server 5 cap levels. 3 weeks to end game. They were producing too many resources. This is a good step. I might actually have something to do in a month.

You might want to give this game a try. They have the battle mechanics completly worked out.

I just wish other people would see it. This is a step in a positive direction. And where others have spelled out the doom of Evony, I think this is a step in what saved it.

It's like the same thing about fat guys who sit on oil. They want it and they want it all. Never letting a drop out. The moment they've lost their grossly disproportionate standard of life, they wail and scream and throw temper tantrums.

Customers will ALWAYS come and go in this game. Anybody who loses their town to another through war may go. But customers will always come in. I don't mind if people complain about customer service, etc. But if a gameplay mechanic doesn't suit you? Well just carry on and find a game that's for you. Not produce 20 threads saying why Evony life is unfair.

9 days worth of units? Sounds about right, yep.

I watched a week of defences go down to a 6 hr zerg army of warriors.

You might want to review food costs on each unit, keep what you need, keep what you can afford.
You actually get resources back from those armies too by the way. Imagine, there is some work involved in a sim game like Evony. Even a war one. Armires aren't an unlimited resource.

Sis you also have to take into consideration the time and resources gone into each unit. It is because of this change that people will attack new players much more often. Since the daily schedule would be like this: Attack NPCs all, then raid as many players as possible, hopefully turn them into NPCs.
