Default Star levels seems to have no effect except stat text locally?

    Hello,
I'm wondering if anyone has any counter tests to this because after some testing with another it seems that star levels have no effect whatsoever except for showing up in your hero's stat window:
    - They don't show in global stats (which is a shame i really would like the 100ish missing attk from my hero to show up!)
    - Made it so my hero and another person's hero had the same stats with 3 items (not including the star bonus , counting my items as giving 10 each instead of 31) , i obviously then had much more attk than him yet we had the exact same training time for archers (1 min 20) , even thought i was 23 point ahead (21 on the sword and 1 on each of the 2 other items). When he added a lv 7 (star level 0) item and thus was still 16 points BELOW me he trained archers faster than me (1min 19).
    - I've seen a post on these forums (can't find it again) that seemed to say test on pol and int hero didn't match any of the known formulas for research/ressource production , but matched perfectly as soon as you stoped acounting for the bonus of star levels.

If this is a bug this really should be fixed asap as it costs a lot of money ( > 1K$? ) to get a full set of star level 15 gear and 1k$ for no effect sounds like a lot!

Anyone else's very disapointed by this?

Okay i was the other person involved in this test. I did the following follow up test. I had a hero without gear on at 301 attack hit a lvl 5 npc (Hero 1). I had a hero who would be 253 attack (Hero 2) without the bebefit of stars being added but 314 attack with stars added hit a lvl 5 npc as well.

Hero 1 took 52 rounds to clear the npc
Hero 2 took 51 rounds to clear the npc

What this shows is that star levels do affect attacking even though they have absolutely no affect on production rates of troops.

Was it the same NPC with the same defending hero? I ask because a one round difference might be due to the defending hero, and the best way to eliminate that variance is to hit the same NPC with the same set-up/defending hero and a different attacking hero an hour or so later.

Star Levels only come into effect in combat, there has been several tests done by players that have confirmed this.
