    Default Age II Super Server- Possibilities

    This isn't a thread asking for a super server, its a long time before we will really need one, but more about the discussions of what a age II super server would be like.

    The main thing i ponder is the Historical cities, how are they going to work around this?

    My only thought are that they might basically combine 4 Maps together and the mabye even add a super Lv20 Historical in the centre?

    Another thing is what will the do with Historical Heroes?

    Someone in my alliance suggested they would change our current HH into super normal heroes, same stuff but we can change there name basically and then add new Historical Heroes on the Super Server that can go up to Lv200?

    Either way it might be to early to start discussing this, but its interesting to ponder on how exactly they would make ageII super server work, I'm quite sure they might already have plans for it but what does everyone else think.

    I was thinking the same things. I imagine that thing you proposed with the historical heroes could be a fair idea of how to deal with them. But I do not think the idea of what to do with the cities could work. I think it would be better to have them become regular cities that still are able to get building levels higher than 10, but maybe take away the area drafts and randomly deposit them around the map too? Whatever happens with age 2 mergers, it would have to be well thought out and complex. But with NPCs removed, I think mergers will be much further apart from age 1 servers, so this would not be an urgent issue until the servers do need merging.

    Well yeah what they could do I guess is your Lv12 Become normal Cities with all the same benefits but can no longer draft but are free to teliport.

    What they could then do is scale the rest of the Historical on the map +2 Levels so were HC12s are Hc14s are now, and the State Capitals at Lv20s, Atlantis would then be a Lv22.

    Those players with Lv14HC+ Could just take any one of the spots were HC12s were.

    Or because of how far down the track it is basically scale all them up by 4 Levels, so every 18 Miles you have a Lv16HC , every 66 a Lv18 HC, the New Capitals are Lv20 and Atlantis is Lv22, i think this would be the best thing actually, this would make Historical Cities a real challenge on super servers.

    You could think of it like an expansion pack for a game such as WOW or fallout where the level cap is raised really.

    Sounds like the most feasible idea since many other games follow this same path.
    All other ideas I can think of would just annoy and upset most if not all other players.

    Heh something like that, well basically it would give a super server more depth then just merging everyone for a new kill feast adds new goals.

    That is a great question and I would bet Evony hasn't even thought about how to do that.

    great idea making super server HC's 2+ bring much more fun and strategy into the game. making 12's with same troop counts as 14's sounds great. since for most players and alliances playing on these "super servres" lvl12's are cakework in the current servers. it would require more thinking and team work to cap 14's 16's in these server's. basically making these top 5 allainces in there servers feel like sub top 10 allainces. i think its a great idea.

    yeah, and people are still spending time spreading rumors about upcoming server mergers in age2 and even trying to make others change their policies because of them.

    on our server the hosts of certain top alliances actually believe that there is an upcoming merger between us(na17!), na1 and na4. as if the likelihood of a merger soon wasn't low enough they had to make something as silly as that up. And people fall for it and spread it to others....whoever made it up must be proud.
