Done everything the way the Quests told you it should be but can't see how on earth the top players get their armies and score? This is what's going on
nerfing NPC is not that bad..yeah i just started on NPC farming..so since i dun play 24 hours aday..it will be fine with me anyway..just gotat make more barbs around me..hahaha..
if they would like us to start atatcking other players..i think the best thing to do at the moment was to remove the CAP of army that you can send out..
if they would like to nerf out the NPC regen..i wouldnt mind but it is as well nerf off the CAP resource, market CAPs and Troops CAPS per march to balance this game..
the only reason why there is a hardly a blwon out war is because no one wants to send their tiny 100K agaisnt a might few millions troops...
removing the CAPS will allowed more war to happens since you can now offically send a few millions troops against few millions troops..
at the moment the war is more like David vs Goliath...hahahah

lol i agree with u beeblbrox to be honest im not scared of the so called "best" players of the game cuz most of them are leaving the game due to the fact that they cant support their armies and dont have the mentality to realize " hey if i would have just build more farms in more cities i could have a few cities with a good amount of troops.
I also say bring it on but i wont say my server due to the fact that my alliance leader is gone for a day or so and im right next to him.![]()
The people that are leaving are using this as an excuse for leaving due to the real reason - game stagnation.
I'm a top 3% player. Farming barb cities and bashing the weak only has so much appeal. hence the locust-like loyalty of online gamers - seeking new games to find the weak points and exploit for quick and easy ego-boosts.
Once I have achieved my personal goals of this game (gaining 10 cities and developing to the max), if there aren't any appealing goals to aim for, I am just as locust-like as the rest of them.
I really, really, hope that Age 2 brings significant and achievable goals to keep me playing. There is so much about this game that I enjoy that I would be sad to leave.

Oh thats just a lie =P In order for that to be true there would have to be 13,000 active players on server three. Once you get to 1500 people stop having more then 50k honor. You are a top 25% player who got into the the sub guild of a real power house and never accumulated more then one or two fights worth of honor.
Being ranked 390 isn't an accomplishment when you are in a top tier alliance. I got a guy ranked 157 with four cities who doesn't even log in most days. You can be mostly inactive and be in the top 25% of the active player base.
That 150k honor and eight cities, if you haven't been farming NPC cities you literally haven't been doing anything but building. Heck, you probably had people knock down the cities you captured for you. Kind of hard to have that low of honor if you have captured a city or two via your own efforts.
Lets cut the BS, and stop all the 'Lol farmer nubs are gonna starve.' They are not. Upkeep is still very viable. Your not a great player, the flag over your head and the alliance full of barb farmers who have your back has done most of the work for you.
Cutting the BS.
Even if you don't farm a single village, NPC or PC, proper build up in your village can still support 200k+ armies(something that most players don't do, even though it's rather easy). Since NPC's can STILL be farmed, having 500K-800K is also still very viable. So the Wal-Mart Super Center NPC's are gone. I can still shop around and get everything I need. It just takes a little more effort than it did 48 hours ago.
Ultimatly, Evony will probably look more like Tribal Wars. There is a cap on city population(buildings and troops permanetly subtract from this cap) which limits the amount of troops you can have. Troops are permantly assigned to the village that built them, no transfering of control to another village. However, defenders can still stack every soldier you have built in one city with no penelty. It's still not perfect, but it's the best they could come up with. There isn't nearly as much complaing there over game mechanics, because the devs have essentially stated that that was how they have decided the game will be, and if you don't like it, go somewhere else. The devs here, need to think about what they want in the game, make it that way, and leave it alone. Changing the mechanics every week, in a game that is "offically" out of BETA is never going to work as they will always be changing stuff.
I know it makes me a geek, but the fact that your forum rank is archer is very funny to me.
I imagine that the devs want a game that will attract a long term playing community (This is after all a business for them).
I've played other games where the devs say "like it or lump it" and those games end up with tiny playing communites of people who fear new additions to game content that might make them adapt to retain any rank they've managed to achive.
The devs here have shown a lot of willing to make changes when it's clear they are needed. The game is still in BETA really and probably will remain so until AGE2 (Just wish they would have stuck with that officially to avoid all this hoo haa).
The game is not balanced, it still has a lot of work that needs doing, but it does have great potential to be a game that will have a vibrant population of people instead of other games which only really attract a tiny amount of the hardcore no life brigade (The reason I'm still here).
Good players will adapt anyway. I imagine the only people suffering now are those who needed to be shown how to use these methods in the first place and are waiting for more skilled players to tell them what the best strategy to continue is now.
