    Post Unconquerable Historic Cities

    On the server Na4 the host of 300 has Taken a Lvl 12 npc... My alliance WHYA has been attacking and succeeding in attacking the city.... He has truced twice now and used at least 5 Speech texts.... Now he has Abandoned all his cities except the lvl 12.... Think of the applications.... a Unconquerable Atlantis...
    Please Fix this Evony

    I adressed this before on the forum, but got no response from an evony representative or anything...

    Well, its defiantly a Wuss move on his part... Seems there should be something that keeps you from only having a Historical City(s)..... Since its actually happening now it should get addressed

    I doubt this is the case. Are you sure the player does not have another city somewhere you cannot find it? If this is not the case then this is a serious game issue that I am sure Evony will resolve.

    You are right. I checked it out. The player only has 1 city and it is a level 12 historical. Hm, this is a problem. I'll raise the issue with Evony because this basically makes it possible for a player to cap a state captial or atlantis and make it unconquerable if they abandon all of their cities except for that historical. It needs to be fixed.

    Ohh thank you! Japanpimp is going to resolve the issue through his great connections with the Evony staff!

    Why is this a bug? Should players not be able to have 1 city in Age I? This is simply a strategy. Being "unconquerable" is not a bug. It's a hard, last resort choice for most players. It's kind of hard to grow when you only have 1 city.

    Yeah, I submitted a support ticket. Awating response. i'll let you guys know what they say. If it is indeed game design (being able to abandon all but a historic AND that historic not being able to be captured) then we will just have to work with it. But it does present a big problem. Say some player decides to cap a few 12's and some 16's then makes his account inactive on purpose. Now we have a bunch of "dead" uncapturable historics sitting on the server. So I would assume that historics are capturable, period. No matter if they are the players last city or not. Because historics cannot be colonized. So I would imagine they are treated just like an Age I city, capturable. Nowhere in Age II have I read that a players last city is uncapturable. So I say, try to capture it.
