    And what if that player decides to quit the server after they capped Atlantis or a state capital?
    Hey if an you can't have than your enemy can't have it either.
    Anyway I would almost completely doubt a player that owns a state capital or Atlantis to be ever pushed back to only the historic. The only way that player would have gained control of an historic like that would be through an alliance. And since they control they where deemed a very high value player in the alliance that should be trustworthy. So even if another alliances decides to try take it they will have a whole alliance behind them reinforcing. Also even in the extremely unlikely chance that a player decided to turn his back on his alliance, or another alliances breaks an entire alliance army I wouldn't go inactive with a state or the capital as my last. That would be a very stupid thing to do.

    Honestly if a player manages to conquer a historic it wouldn't bother me if they use everything in their disposal to defend against losing it.

    Honestly all that is being said here has been said before. Just go study the other thread for your answers.

    Seeing as so far I have facepalmed 5 times in this thread from japanpimp, it would take far too long to point out his horrible ideas and arguments. But I will point something out japanpimp, that will help you a lot. It's called multi-quote. Use it. Learn it. Love it.


    My personal thought was that conquering should be added period. Why? Because Evony had a big boom in Age I. They became one of the most successful online gaming sites in the world. Why? because of the non-stop face paced action for a game like this one. People actually had to use their brains. But people were ungreaful. They complained about medals, OMG MY CITIE GOT TAKEN!? , farming too much, etc etc. All of a sudden Age II comes out, and BOOM! no more Age I attention. What happens? The people of Evony clamour about how great Age I is. Conquering was a big part of that


    Finally, I believe that there should be a mix of the two. First off when you are attacking, there should be 2 options. 1. Colonize. 2. Raid. Raid would work exactly like an attack button. You spam down loyalty down to 0 if you so choose, or you can plunder from that city if you break through. Colonize works as normal. Once you successfully colonize a city, you can then wait 24 hours, then fight another suppresion type battle to conquer the city. All players may select 1 city that is NOT conquerable, but can be colonized. If a player has 1 city left, and that 1 city happens to be a Historical City, that city may be colonized, but not conquered.


    Some other things Evony needs to address:
    1. Most importantly, make materials actually drop. How can non-paying members even get close to people with high gear. Even with HenryIV, the highest attack your going to get is 280 with lv 2 gear.

    2. Make medals drop at a normal rate. Make it so medal drops are reasonable. I'd say 5% for that corresponding level, 1% for that group, and .1% for any other. Ex. Cross medals drop at 5% from lv 1 NPCs and lv 1 valleys, 1% from lv 4 valleys, and .1% from lv 10s.

    3. Historical Heroes. Another HUGE advantage centers have over regular members. With only around 30 starting cents, you can only hope for 1 or 2 HHs if your lucky. Make enquiring details either gold induced, or less cents.

    I kinda like that, especially the part where after "conquering" you must fight an additional battle 24 hours later to actually finish the conquer.

    This means on Idles you got them..but a player who even logs on 1 time a day has a chance to reinforce, ask ally help, diplomacy, strategms, whatever. Meanwhile the attacker also has his own options to reinforce, strategms etc.... A proper PVP

    It is totally different than the mechanic I proposed, but it has the same type of principle. Let us fight, but at the same time don't allow a player that is gone to work or sleeping be totally destroyed in 15 minutes.

    Yeah having that 24 hour suppression battle, that gives everyone a chance, seriously 24 hours for reinforcements if you can't fill a embassy in that time well your loss.

    But let's not derail the topic here. This is about the Conquer mode/Attack button stuff.
    So, you have anything else to add to that?
    Which part of NEW player or MOST player did you NOT understand?

    Again MOST NEW player don't have friends from
    other server helping them build city with lvl 9 embassy to protect their troops.

    And my point about attack button is that it should be for players with Baron title and above.
    This way low level player with Civilian or Knight title status can have a chance to build up and defend themselves.

    Evony age one was a BIG BOOM due to aggressive sexy boobies advertisement.

    And it's true a lot of new players were joining evony rapidly but they were also quitting evony rapidly as well.

    Due to the fact that it's difficult to survive in a game where newbies
    get attacked/plundered right after 7 days beginner protection.
