I hate to open a can of worms, but the Chicken vs. Egg is a question of creationism versus evolution.

If you believe in Creationism, you believe that God (or something else) created the chicken, and creating an egg without a creature is not possible.

But if you believe in Evolution then the Egg had to come first; a radiated egg that slowly became more and more chicken like till it got to where we are today.
