If you believe in Creationism, you believe that God (or something else) created the chicken, and creating an egg without a creature is not possible.

But if you believe in Evolution then the Egg had to come first; a radiated egg that slowly became more and more chicken like till it got to where we are today.
And I know for a fact that my grandparents weren't any closer biologically to monkeys than I am today, leaving Divinely Created Chicken as the only logical answer.
