True, but in this reasoning, she is following her belief and violating the rights of another human being. Either way, its funny because if she claims that an all-powerful and all-knowing god needs a baby dead, then why didn't the god just prevent the baby from being born or even existing. If this lady claims he is all-powerful, then its right to state that this god could do anything in his power to stop the baby from hurting mankind. Therefore, if her reasoning is totally gone, she is bordering on insanity and irrational illogic.

Not only have we proven that the Jesus-deadbaby-lady is a dumb bish and deserved to go to prison, we have also proven that Christianity is kind of a farce without even directly discussing it. GO TEAM GO!

I am a Roman Catholic by the way, and if you would like to discuss it, I would love to remind you that we have absolutely no right to end another person's life under any circumstance according to the Bible and according to the natural laws in the universe. So your point regarding that is mute because the lady is misinterpreting her own religion (you claimed its Christianity involved here so that allows me to specifically address this religion involved as Christianity).

Please read my post carefully, nowhere did I state that Christianity is a farce nor did I hint at it. I bolded belief for a reason, because it was hers and no one elses.

Bottom line: What she did was wrong, her reasoning was most likely the result of borderline insanity (the cause)

Because I shut it down as Humility was posting, and because this post isn't on religion, I'll quote it here:

I see two possible routes, I'll go with all of them.

Okay, so here is what I believe. I believe that crime crime has two causes equal to selfishness and greater then insanity.

1. Small Crime serves an important social function, it keeps people alert and on their toes. Without it people would become completely complacent and vulnerable to things more dangerous then simple crime, things like tyranny, exploitation and war. Sort of like how your immune system requires the constant threat of lesser diseases to protect it from the stronger ones.

As such there is an evolutionary advantage to a criminal element and as such a strong possibility that there is a genetic cause. Societies without a criminal element died out leaving only those with criminal elements keeping them alert.

2. Simple rebellion, our society glorifies the rebel. Law is the ultimate sign of authority, and such breaking the law is the ultimate sign of rebellion. Those driven to rebellious attitudes are driven to break the law. They do it not out of selfishness, but because it seems to be the natural thing to do given their role as a rebel. And the desire to be a rebel stems from the natural urge given to man by evolution to drive youths to leave their homes to start their own family. The desire for independence.
