Think about it. Knuckles gives out red rep, while Nesterus posts pictures meant to denote what a fool you are. Which is more civilized? The private comment to you, or the public flaming?

For all those who want red rep ability removed from forum members, I tell you that I will fight that tooth and nail. I think it's a FAR better choice than what we had previously, AND it has consequences. If 1000 Nesterus-type flames are aimed at you, all that happens is that the mods have to do a lot of work. If 1000 Knuckles-type rep is aimed at you, nobody knows but you and maybe you learn a little lesson. I personally hope Nesterus and the other public trolls get the ability to red rep others and start using it judiciously.
