Default Why is it always the small player?

I lost out in the medal change, I never medal spammed back then i just played it normally, they should of reset the game to make it fair. While everyone was npc farming i wasnt. I lost out again. They change it again, giving the players who took advantaged of it the advantage again. They have no business skills at all. Who is actually running UGME, a 12 year old?

Im not sure how this make a difference in the way your talking .. the medal issue was a major flaw .. but this. well if anything it helps the smaller players by putting a cap on the size of larger players armies.

Previously resoursces we essentially unlimited, the bigger a player got the faster he could make troops, and with no cap on the number, the smaller players would only get further and further behind. This at least put a soft cap on army size.

I disagree to be honest, its still given them the advantage of having a 100mil food, and millions of any other resource.. They could simply destroy what they dont need.. So obviously it gives them the advantage...

Not all big players are jerks though... I send upwards of half my resources to smaller players in my alliance. I have this theory that people's behavior in the game mirrors their personality in real life.

Young players have a habit of nestling up near my cities, because they know that I go after the players that tend to prey on them.

As long as they leave my stuff alone, I don't bother them.

I once had a player in BP attack one of my valleys while I was on, losing her entire army was enough for her not to do it again.

    I salute you.

"It's just a game" is way over used. People who are vile in games had deep seeded hate, period.

I play antipirate. I don't bully, I won't hit you first. It doesnt mean I won't fight back. Unfortunately in Evony, there is no way to truly help one another and players like me arent targets. We have lost 3 active members to a griefer. 10 to 3 or 4. This last one takes the cake She takes thier original city and NPC's it. She teleported a level 10 city into our state and flat out said, she is here to make people quit the game.

I can't send these people resources. I'm 8 hrs away. By the time the resources get there, they are at work or in bed and they end up in the hands of said griefers. Useless random teleporting in an off chance you might get within 50 miles of one or 2 players. Second city is screaming to be a victim to one of these freaks. They aren't abundant. Most people in Evony leave you alone. Just enough wierdo's to make the game unproductive.

OP: I never farmed either. I'm not uber and leet. I'm 5 rose medals from Baronet. I don't ever expect to get them. I will be a once city wonder untill I leave anyway. It doesnt matter to me.

Ah i had a problem with a high player that was right next to me.
I send him a friendly ''Hello'', because i thought he'd be friendly and wouldn't attack me if i send him a message making a friendly conversation..
I was wrong, i got attacked by him right after i lost my newb protection

I had the exact opposite happen to me. A player 1/10 my size moved in 3 miles from my HQ. Due to his small size, I was just going to leave him alone. Within 1 hour of arriving next to me he TOOK ONE OF MY VALLEYS!!!!! I took it back, then hit his village once. He lost, and I considered the message of "you really shouldn't tick off players 10x your size" delivered, and started to ignore him again. A few minutes later, I get a message from him cursing and screeming over attacking him because, and I quote, "it was only a valley you moran". Amazing what some people consider to NOT be an act of war.

Weather you're a bully, bitter loser, or a good player, ultimitely comes down to your mentality. If you lord your victories over others, like that "I'm here simply to make people quit" player, then your a bully. If you start cursing and making sexual remarks about someone's mother, then you're a bitter loser. If you give those you defeat advice on how to improve their gameplay, and congradulate those who beat you, well, that's just good gamesmanship.

How does business skills go into gameplay? Please keep the business and game seperate. Honestly, this is one of the first companies that allow you to play the game without having to buy stuff at their shop. I've played other online games, and even MMOS where they're real money shop was mandatory. I see so many threads on how the noob or weaker player is getting taken advantaged of. I even see people submit under harrassment, when this was how the game was designed.

Maybe in the future they'll come out with a better method of survivability for the incoming player.

Haha you got to be joking? "How does business skills go into gameplay?" Honest to god you are taking the ****? I wonder hmmm... You try and sell a service, but its a terrible service.. And you say how does a terrible service come into a business? Your off your rocker kid. Having good game play means having good business skills to sell your service... Thank god your not in the business industry,
