only logical explanation is attacker had archery 9.
Maybe that was part of a multi-players take down and one of them didn't have max tech...
What I'm thinking Is that the movement speed from mount made attacking archers move first, could explain few weird things I have seen.
Level 9 Archery would explain it but yes
Its not to hard to test just Clear the Cav in a HC12 without clearing Archers and send a wave to check.

my only thoughts about it is that it might have something to do w the damage spillover we see in age 2 where arch/cav (maybe others but havent seen) will hit more than one layer in range
maybe cav layer too small so A arch can hit and move in same round?
and pretty sure pepper had all techs maxed

Not sure since naked archers do fine so, however there is some clear factor that we don't understand in age2.

Very weird report. Yes, I assume there are still a few things about the battle engine that we don't fully comprehend yet. I don't think mount is the entire explanation, as it seems that would cause serious inconsistencies with the reports that we do get.
