What is the point
I have been playing this game for many weeks now, and I am yet to see a worthwhile goal. All I have been doing is build, attack, be attacked, rebuild, join an alliance, build, attack, and so it goes on. This game would be far more interesting to me if
A) The barbarians were to randomly attack, thus creating a reason for demolishing NPC's, rather than just being used as resorce stores.
Attacking a NPC is so predictable, you don't need scouts.
B) That there be an incentive for individual provinces to have their alliances band together to create a global war between provinces, rather than petty skirmishes.
Perhaps this COULD use a bit of embelishment, but I am sure you get the general idea.

In 6 months, this game will do well if it has 1000 people playing it.

Part of my point. This game is so repetitious, it can only hold one's attention for so long

Even Travian has something to aim for, and has a time scale running.

The point of Evony is is a different answer to everyone. I enjoy Evony because it's a political exercise that allow you to simulate and control number of people. Evony would be better in my opinion, if it was more populated, A good 2000 per state would be good, and to prevent over crowding we should invite more states. What ever your personal goal is the point. That would be the whole bullet on the target here.
